Using Zantac or Pepcid AC for Asian flush or Asian glow

Some people, particularly Asians) have a difficult time metabolizing alcohol.
In normal people when they consume alcohol the body metabolizes and digests it. Even in ‘nomal’ people they don’t metabolize it entirely or they would not get drunk. However in people with the Asian flush or the Asian glow their bodies are especially ineffective at dealing with and removing alcohol and its associated by products
This is the reason why sufferers experience such toxic reactions like a red swollen face, headaches, nausea, itching, etc. This syndrome is called Asian flush or Asian Glow and can be deeply embarrassing, especially if it arrives unexpectedly.
People have found some success in alleviating some of these symptoms through over-the-counter antacid medicines like Zantac and Pepcid AC. As scientific evidence and personal experience suggests, using Pepcid AC as an Asian flush cure, it seems that the results are poor to fair at best. People who have tried the Pepcid AC method have reported improvements but at the expense of getting drunk faster. In addition it seems that fairly large amounts of Pepcid AC or Zantac are required for it to be effective at all at preventing the symptoms of the Asian Glow. The long term effects of using larger quantities of Pepcid or Zantac to abate the Asian hangover are very questionable as well.
One preventative measure or ‘cure’ if you will for the Asian Glow that is reported to work reliably and consistenty with no ill effects long or short term and the added benefit of a reduced or completely eliminated hangover the next day is the No Red Face Formula
